Climbing in Red Rocks Canyon

There were plenty of other climbers and we soon found out an early
start was necessary to get on a popular climb. This was fine becaue
the early morning was the most beautiful time in the area

 

A new friend, Martin, and I set off for Frogland in the Black Velvet Canyon

our 6 pitch route is just to the right of the large smooth
white sandstone area with the large roof

 

 

Here's where all the frogs are, at the top.  There were hundreds of frog
like features all around
