Climbing in Red Rocks Canyon

 

I left the rainy Northwest April 1st 2005 on a jet airplane and here is
where I landed

The desert had received a lot of rain and was it ever green!

 

and incredibly beautiful

Our first climb was on an interesting rock peak called Mescalito
the route was called Cat in the Hat
