Visiting Petey's home in Spokane
Petey followed her love
of skiing to Ketchum Idaho where she later learned
the fine art of snowboarding
having raised a fine daughter
she wound her way to the door of
Mountain Gear, a large company that supplies all kinds of outdoor
equipment in Spokane and through the internet throughout the
world. After working for a few years in the warehouse she switched to
a job working in the climbing department of the retail store
We had a few fun days climbing
at a local climbing area, Minnehaha Park and
Q'emiln Park in Post Falls Idaho. Petey's balance and strength makes her a
fine climber
with great potential to be my rope gun for my old age.

But alas the weather rained
us out of more climbing, it was almost as wet as Bellingham!
So we did other outdoor things
Though thoroughly intimidated I hobbled along
but obviously no match for the master
We had a great time at Sontag
Park near nine mile falls
