It rained five days Lord and the clouds turned as dark as night
It rained five days and the clouds turned as dark as night
Lord that was really enough trouble to make a poor man wonder where in the world to go

By Big Bill Broonzy

well it wasn't as bad as the 1927 flood in Mississippi

Well I knew where I wanted to go and through the long winter rains I had been

preparing by building a travel trailer to carry my bikes and camping gear

my stalwart friend Edwin helped me get my escape vehicle,

"Ms. Piggy" ready for a more electrified updated road trip

here Ed puts the finishing touches on the

deep cell battery and the inverter

and here we celebrate the truly awesome bose speaker system guaranteed

to have Ted run out of most campgrounds

After working 10 hour days to finish a remodel job so I could flee the Northwest rain

we celebrated my departure with a going south party

with grilled sockeye salmon

BouBoundary Bay IPAnaB

AAas a special treat my son Jamie and nephews Loren and Lyndsey

joined in the celebration
